Our principles

  • All experts have theatre education and extensive experience in watching performances
  • In our app, you'll only find performances recommended by our experts
  • Out of a great number of performances that we watched only a few were selected for the app
  • We carefully categorised and structured all performances for you
  • We want to popularize theatre, so we avoid using abstruse language in our texts

Coming soon: an AI guide

Tell it what you enjoy in your own words – a film, a play you loved, a mood, a budget. It suggests performances from our app and explains each choice in our critics’ words.

  • It only suggests performances our experts recommend
  • It quotes the critic instead of writing its own review
  • Dates, prices and theatres come from our catalogue, not from the AI

I loved Fleabag. Something sharp and funny in Berlin – I don’t speak German.

Our critics recommend a satire with English subtitles:

status quo

Schaubühne

Their collaboration results in a satirical comedy that explores gender relations in an exaggerated and provocative manner.

FAQ

Why can't I find the performance in the app?

We only add performances to the app that our experts have watched and are ready to recommend. If a performance is not listed, it means we either haven’t watched it yet or are not ready to recommend it.

Are you planning to add any features?

You can send all your suggestions to our email, but we still have many development ideas and are only at the beginning of our project.

We are a theater. How can our performance be included in your app?

We only add performances to the app that our experts have reviewed and are ready to recommend for viewing. Therefore, you can invite us to the performance, and after that, we will decide whether we are ready to include it in our database.

Is it possible to buy a ticket for a performance directly in the app?

Unfortunately, this is not possible yet, but from the app, you can directly go to the theater's website and purchase a ticket there.
